These wall pieces, which range from 5-18” in diameter, are a continuation of my healthy obsession with the flower and pollen form. I started to make them as "tiles" for a tile exhibition in 2008 and had so much fun, that I have continued to make them.

The Papavar and Bee installations were created for a solo exhibition in 2011 at Baltimore Clayworks. I have exhibited them in many iterations since then, often with the poppy and bee forms intermingled. Given I had over 350 of them, I have used transformed many of them into garden pieces to give them new life outside!
